Parent Teacher Conferences – Report Cards
- Ms. Sloan also mentioned this in an update, but you will not receive a paper copy of your report card this year. You will be able to access it by using the Parent Portal. https://powerschool.sandi.net/public/ This was the same password you used to see your teacher at the beginning of the year. If you have lost your parent password please contact Miss Julie at jperry2@sandi.net.
- Please remember that our zoom schedule for the week of conferences will be modified (see email sent on October 30th).
- If anything changes in regards to your conference time, please let me know ASAP.
- Just to clarify our conferences begin on 11/16.
Scholastic Book Order – November
- November Book Order…All orders need to be in by Monday, November 9th. If you have time sensitive books that need to be delivered before our Dec. distribution day, please contact me and we can easily make arrangements to get you the books.
- You can now choose to have books delivered to your home due to Covid-19.
- This is a great place to get Holiday gift books for friends and family!
Asynchronous Work This Week:
As we have worked a schedule to limit student online time, try to get practice on these platforms for student practice.
- ST Math (15 minutes) Tuesday/Thursday – 2 – 3 Days a week
- RAZ Kids (15 minutes) Mon./Wed./Fri. – 3 – 5 Days a week
- Seesaw – Assigned activities for whole class and/or Penguin Groups (Royals, Emperors, & Kings).

- Art Lesson (Materials Needed: Veteran’s Day Craft: White paper ring, with clipped red circles and black dots. Students will also need scissors and a glue stick….Give lots of encouragement, but let the productive struggle happen)

Thursday – 11/12/20
- Morning Meeting 8:40 – 9:10 am
- Technology Class – Ms. Martin at 10:30 If you are able to be present or have another helper present at the beginning of this time to practice minimizing zoom that would be very helpful. 10:30 – 11:00 (directions to practice are also in last week’s blog post if you are unable to be there on Thursdays).
